Carpenter Street from Greenwood Street to Main Street
Schedule: April 2021 through June 2021
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 10 to May 14: Electrical work will be completed early in the week. Concrete contractor will be on site later in the week.
Traffic Impacts: Carpenter Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.
Doty Street from Follett Street to Scott Street
Schedule: April 2021 through October 2021
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 10 to May 14:: Alliant Energy’s contractor (InterCon) continues to relocate gas main and laterals. Sanitary work will begin at the intersection of Doty and N. Sibley. Excavation will be opened up to top of sanitary pipe and then left open for bypass work to begin May 17.
Traffic Impacts: Doty Street will remain open to two-way traffic.
Beginning the week of May 17 the Contractor will need to bypass the sanitary sewer for 1 to 2 weeks at the start of the project. The bypassing will occur at the intersection of Doty Street and Sibley Street. A generator will be running 24 hours a day in order to keep continuous flow of sanitary from the city to wastewater treatment plant.

Schedule: April 2021 through October 2021
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 10 to May 14: Alliant Energy’s contractor (InterCon) will be relocating gas main and laterals.
Traffic Impacts: Cotton Street will remain open to two-way traffic.
Star Street from 6th Street to 8th Street
Schedule: April 2021 through October 2021
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 10 to May 14: The utility contractor will begin Sanitary main installation.

Garfield Street from Bank Street to Scott Street

Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, extension of sanitary laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 10 to May 14: The utility contractor will begin installation of the storm sewer.

Fox Ridge Business Park Phase 3
Schedule: April 2021 through October 2021
Description: The project includes construction of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, roadway, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
May 10 to May 14: The contractor continues earthwork operation. Water main will be installed along the west leg of new Fox Ridge Drive.
Traffic Impacts: Fox Ridge drive and Spirit drive remain open to two-way traffic.
WIS 23 Expansion – Urban Section – WI DOT Northeast Region
Location/limits: WIS 23 and various intersecting local roads between US 151 and Seven Hills Road
Length: 5.59 miles
Schedule: April 19, 2021 to fall of 2022
Description of work: This work is part of the WIS 23 4-lane, on-alignment expansion project in Sheboygan and Fond du Lac counties.
May 10 to May 14: Crews will continue to work on the excavations off the roadway from Taft Road to Seven Hills Road. The contractor will continue constructing the temporary widening along the WIS 23 westbound lanes from County UU to US 151. They will also begin work on the new connection between Irene Drive and Whispering Springs Drive, a new road between County UU and Whispering Springs Drive, and a new road between County UU and Northway Drive. Several utility crews will be onsite to relocate their lines for the ongoing construction work.
