The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer says she believes the Omicron variant surge in Fond du Lac County has peaked. Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says 75 positive COVID-19 cases were reported Tuesday, continuing a downward trend over the last couple of weeks. Mueller says it had been several weeks since Fond du Lac County had recorded under 100 daily positive cases. Monday marked the two year anniversary of the first COVID-19 case confirmed in Madison Wisconsin. The first two COVID-19 cases in Fond du Lac County were confirmed on March 11, 2020.
