Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue is reminding residents to practice common sense safety when grilling out this holiday weekend. Division Chief of Community Risk Reduction and Life Safety Jason Roberts says make sure your grill is well away from the home, deck railings and out from under eaves and overhanging branches. Keep children and pets at least three feet away from the grill area and never leave your grill unattended. Make sure to properly dispose of ashes.
