8-20-22 marquette law school poll

The latest Marquette Law School Poll shows Democrats leading in races for Wisconsin governor and U.S. Senate.  The poll shows Democrat Mandela Barnes in front of Republican U.S. senator Ron Johnson 51-percent to 44-percent.  Poll director Charles Franklin says a June poll showed Barnes up by only two points, within the poll’s margin of error.   The poll shows a tight race for governor with Democrat incumbent Tony Evers in front of Republican Tim Michels 45 to 43 percent, within the poll’s margin of error. The poll is the first since the Aug. 9 primary election.
