11-22-22 wi farm bureau thanksgiving marketbasket survey

The price of a Thanksgiving meal in Wisconsin is 4.3 percent more this year, but still below the national average.  That according to the Wisconsin Farm Bureau’s annual marketbasket survey.   Farm Bureau spokeswoman Cassie Sonnentag says the price for 15 Thanksgiving food items this year rang in at $74.54, up from $71.49 cents last year,  but below the national average of $81.30.  The cost of a 16 pound turkey is actually down slightly.  The price for pumpkim pie is up.
