An eight year old Fond du Lac boy was transported to the hospital following a drowning at the Taylor Park Swimming pool in Fond du Lac. Fond du Lac Fire Chief Erick Gerritson says paramedics were called to the scene shortly after 2:30pm Sunday. Gerritson says paramedics were able to get a pulse before the child was transported to the hospital. His condition was not immediately known. Nevin Webster was at a neighborhood outreach picnic in the park with the Grace and Truth Christian Fellowship Church when the incident occurred. He says the group is praying for the child and the family of the child. Reuben Delgado was at the park with his two sons and says its scary. Delgado says it’s ironic that the incident happened on such a beautiful day for swimming and the last day the pool was open for the summer.
