A Fond du Lac County man was found safe, about an hour after he was reported missing. About 6:30pm Sunday the Sheriff’s Office received a report that a 72 year old man had walked away from his town of Eldorado residence into a cornfield. Two K9s and a drone were used in the search, and about an hour later spotted the man laying down in the cornfield approximately 600 yards from his residence. First responders utilized their UTV to safely transport the man out of the cornfield, back to the residence where he was evaluated by paramedics and released to his family with no reported injuries.
