2023 Mill & Overlay Program

Schedule: August 7 through September 8

Description: The project includes manhole adjustments, spot curb and gutter replacement, milling pavement, and overlay of asphalt.

Project Locations:

 Roosevelt Street from Arndt Street to Winnebago Drive

 Division Street from Reid Terrace to National Avenue

 Mohawk Avenue from north of Harborview Drive to north of Boat Launch

September 5 to September 8: Contractor has completed concrete repairs. Milling and overlay operations are scheduled for Thursday (8/7) and Friday (8/8).

Eleventh Street – Park Avenue to Vine Street

Schedule: July 10 through September

Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.

September 5 to September 8: Contractor will begin fine grading mid-week, with asphalt paving to follow.

Traffic Impacts: Eleventh Street will be closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.

Division Street – Lincoln Avenue to Railroad Tracks

Schedule: July 31 through October

Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.

September 5 to September 8: Contractor will begin sanitary laterals and water service installation.

Traffic Impacts: Division Street will be closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.

Ledgeview Avenue – Park Avenue to Cottage Ave Dead End

Schedule: May 8 through September

Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.

September 5 to September 8: Restoration contractor will begin placing topsoil and seeding terraces and all areas disturbed during construction.

Traffic Impacts: Ledgeview Avenue is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.

Third Street – Park Avenue to Everett Street

Schedule: August 9 through October

Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.

September 5 to September 8: Contractor will continue water service and sanitary lateral installation. They might begin storm sewer main installation at the end of the week.

Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.

September 5 to September 8: Contractor will continue water service and sanitary lateral installation. They might begin storm sewer main installation at the end of the week.

2023 Seal Coating Program

Schedule: August 23 through September 8, weather pending

Description of work: The work will include placing a mixture of liquid asphalt and fine aggregate over the entire  street. The application fills small cracks, cover minor road deterioration, and extend the life of the roadway.

September 5 to September 8: No work this week.

Traffic impacts:  The streets will be closed to local traffic for a short period of time. Parking will not be allowed on the street during the times of street cleaning and micro surfacing. Temporary “No Parking Signs” will be placed along the street.
