One child was seriously injured in a school bus crash in Fond du Lac County. The crash happened Friday afternoon on Highway 44/49 north of Highway KK. A preliminary investigation shows that a school bus with three juvenile passengers was northbound on Highway 44/49 when the driver lost control of the bus, entered a ditch, struck a raised driveway before coming to rest in the ditch. The bus did not flip or rollover. One passenger, an eight year old girl, was flown by helicopter to Children’s Hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
