One person is in custody following a high speed chase that started in Fond du Lac County. Shortly after 6pm Monday the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the State Patrol of a speeding vehicle on southbound Interstate 41. The chase started near County Highway N and continued south at speeds in excess of 100 miles an hour. The chase ended more than 20 miles later when the driver was arrested in Washington county. Nobody was injured. The driver faces charges of eluding, recklessly endangering safety and multiple traffic citations.
