5-1-24 governor evers brings pothole patrol to fdl

Gov. Tony Evers brought his annual statewide “Pothole Patrol” tour to Fond du Lac to draw attention to Wisconsin roads.    Gov. Evers has previously gone on “Pothole Patrol” tours during his time in office, including in 2019, 20212022, and 2023, making this the fourth year in a row the governor has conducted his tour. The governor was joined by representatives from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and local officials including the county highway commissioner, county executive and city manager.   In an interview with WFDL news  Gov. Evers said his administration, with help from the legislature made historic investments in Wisconsin’s transportation infrastructure and has improved over 7,400 miles of roads and nearly 1,780 bridges since 2019, including more than 900 miles of road and more than 200 bridges last year alone.
