Waupun first responders are conducting a mass casualty drill Thursday evening for a scenario they hope never happens. Waupun Fire, Police, Hospital and Lifestar EMS will conduct the exercise involving a simulated chlorine spill at a local hotel swimming pool. Waupun Fire Chief B.J. DeMaa says the biggest challenge is treating multiple victims as quickly as possible. DeMaa says the better prepared you are for any eventuality, the easier it will be if the time ever comes. The actual drill will take place at the Waupun Utilities parking lot.
