MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin union leaders will likely not get much help from judges if they decide to challenge Republicans’ new right-to-work provisions in court. A labor expert says no one has ever mounted a successful legal challenge to right-to-work laws. Republicans who control the Legislature have fast-tracked a bill that would make Wisconsin the 25th state to prohibit unions from reaching deals with businesses that require workers to pay union fees as a condition of employment.
