MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Attorneys David Halbrooks and Mark Thomsen are the latest Democratic picks for Wisconsin’s newly created, partisan ethics and elections commissions. Democratic Assembly Minority Leader Peter Barca says he’s confident the pair will bring experience and professionalism to the commissions. Halbrooks is the former chair of the State Elections Board and will serve on the ethics commission. Thomsen is former president of the Wisconsin Association for Justice and will serve on the elections commission.
