Area police departments are asking residents to clean out their medicine cabinets when they do their spring cleaning this month. In conjuction with Drug Free Communities of Fond du lac County, the local law enforcement agencies are asking residents to dispose of their unwanted, outdated medications at area drug drop boxes. North Fond du Lac police chief Darren Pautsch says there are ten drug drop boxes in the county. Since opening the first Drug Drop Box in the state, the city of Fond du lac Police Department has collected more than 19 million pills.
