A Republican lawmaker from Beaver Dam says he supports governor Scott Walker’s child tax credit proposal. The governor proposed a tax credit of $100 per child in his state of the state address. State representative Mark Born says he is in favor of that. “I like that it focuses on families. I think thats a good thing to do,” Born told WFDL news. Meanwhile Born says he expects to governor to continue to tout record low unemployment, elimination of the state property tax and the Foxconn project in the months leading up to the election. “I think he’s going to keep talking about all that stuff because it shows our state and economy is historically strong.”
