Three Fond du Lac County organizations are teaming up to fight domestic violence. The county Department of Social Services, Agnesian HealthCare, SSM Health Domestic Violence Services and the Solutions Center have signed a Memorandum of Understanding designed to improve the way the agencies address domestic violence. According to a prepared statement developing an interagency relationship will identify and close the gaps resulting in positive outcomes for children and families. “This relationship will be strengthened through the team members completing cross training in order to cultivate appreciation and understanding of each other’s roles and responsibilities,” according to the statement. The team says it is committed to their partnership and value outreach to other systems and agencies as a united team to further improve the response toward families who have experience domestic violence.
