5-5-20 republican state senator dan feyen says residents are going “stir-crazy”

Republican state senator Dan Feyen of Fond du Lac says he’s concerned the criteria in the governor’s Bounce Back plan to reopen the state’s economy won’t be met for months.  Feyen says under some scenarios the state may not meet the criteria to reopen until November.   “If you really look at the criteria that was laid out in the Badger Bounce Back plan, we don’t hit that criteria for a long, long time possibly,”  Feyen told WFDL news.   Feyen says he belives the state could safely and responsibly reopen today.  Feyen says people are frustrated and tired of the Stay at Home order.  “For lack of a better term people are starting to go stir-crazy,”  Feyen told WFDL news.  The governor says he is making decisions based on science and public health and will continue to slowly turn the dial to reopen the economy.   The governor said last week there was a chance the order could be lifted before it is scheduled to expire May 26.
