Nobody was injured in a fire in a Fond du Lac apartment bathroom exhaust fan. Around 2am Monday firefighters were called to an apartment at 234 S. National Avenue for a report of the smell of wires burning. Crews found fire in the attic and walls of the bathroom and brought the fire under control in about 20 minutes. Residents were allowed back into all of the units with the exception of the two units damaged by the fire. Three residents of the two apartments were displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross and building management.
