The Wisconsin State Fair is known for having some of the best and craziest food options around. This year there are more than 100 new food options. Fair spokesperson Tess Kerskson says from Pizza Lumpia to Apple Pie Fries, there is something for everyone, including Cotton Candy Beef Jerky, or how about what is billed as the world’s hottest slushie. For the adventurous pallet there are alligator ribs, and camel chili cheese fries and Bug Brownie on a Stick. But Kerkson says the all-time favorite is something that’s been around for a long time. Up to 400,000 cream puffs are sold during the Fair. The state Fair runs from August 3rd through August 13th.
