Bail has been set at $2 million cash for a Fond du Lac woman in connection with the death of a West Bend woman. Twenty year old Annaka Trudell is charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide with use of a dangerous weapon, and party to a crime of armed robbery in the death of 33 year old Ashley Calo of West Bend. Calo was found slumped over the steering wheel of her car near Attitude Sports in Fond du Lac last month and later pronounced dead at Fond du Lac Hospital. According to a criminal complaint Trudell stabbed Calo with a kitchen knife in the chest and arm as a result of a drug deal that went bad. Earlier in the day, Trudell and a co-defendant, Dawson Miller, had planned to steal drugs from Calo by pretending they wanted to buy drugs from her, according to the complaint. Miller is accused of helping Trudell flee the area. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday.
