4-7-16 walker say he is pleased with new poll numbers

Wisconsin governor Scott Walker says he is pleased to see his approval rating rise in the latest Marquette University Law School poll.  The poll taken last month showed Walker’s approval rating at 43-percent…the first time it had topped 40 percent in nearly a year.    “Oh yeah, I think its a good sign,”  Walker said.  “What I’ve said consistently for the last six, seven months is that its slow and steady.  Five years ago our numbers were so low Time magazine called us Dead Man Walking.”  Since dropping out of the presidential race last fall Walker has spent a lot of time holding listening sessions across the state, and reintroducing himself to voters.  Walker made the comments on AM 1170 WFDL’s Between the Lines program.
