MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A prosecutor has cleared a northern Wisconsin sheriff’s deputy of any wrongdoing in the death of an 14-year-old boy. Ashland County Deputy Brock Mrdjenovich shot and killed eighth-grader Jason Pero in November. Authorities said the boy lunged at the deputy with a knife.
